And the eternal battle of the two beauty camps continues.
If everything falls into place, we could see two mixed-race beauties gunning for glory in Miss World Philippines 2014 – Fil-German Valerie Weigmann of Aces & Queens and Fil-American Lorraine Kendrickson of Kagandahang Flores.
So far, this pair appears to be the flag-bearers of their respective camps in the beauty competition that will look for the successor of Miss World Philippines 2013 Megan Young who went on to win our first Miss World crown.
Between the two, 5’9″ Valerie has the advantage in terms of media exposure as she has been a segment regular in the GMA-7 noontime show Eat Bulaga, while 5’6″ Lorraine is still the reigning Miss Dumaguete.
