With the flash and hype now gone, can Ria Rabajante focus on a more relaxed aim for the MWP2013 crown? (Photo credit: OPMB Worldwide)
When Ria Rabajante screened for and became Official Candidate #1 of Bb. Pilipinas Gold, the flash was so strong and the hype so pressuring that it looked like every pre-pageant day had to reach boiling point proportions with the expectations weighing down her quest for one of the crowns. I can only feel for her during the pageant night when most everyone inside Araneta Coliseum furiously chanted her name together with the other favorites.
Ria’s failed Binibini mission notwithstanding, this beauty is trying her luck in Miss World Philippines 2013. And I reckon she will be more relaxed and focused this time around despite the fingers pointing to another candidate (Megan Young) as being destined to take the crown next month.
Will a victorious Ria be seen on August 18? Or will that victory be just a sweet Top 5 spot? Regardless, she is not about to let things slide easy for the popular entrant. After all, the hype over her is a thing of the past and would rather be tagged as the underdog for a change.
