Fil-Portuguese Marianne Guidotti: a Bb. Pilipinas 2014 shoo-in?
I’ve had the pleasure of meeting this lovely young woman more than two months ago during a dinner hosted by my Singapore-based friend in one of the uppity restos in Makati. She is tall like 5’10″ with long wavy tresses and a face that registers beauty so laid-back (like a cross between actress Maricar Reyes and former beauty queen Dindi Gallardo) that one can’t help being instantly charmed by her presence. A graduate of International Studies from Ateneo de Manila University, she entertained thoughts of joining Bb. Pilipinas about two years back. But since she was still happy doing work with one of them non-government organizations, she kept on postponing.
Up until now.
Marianne is already 25. And if she is dead-set on pursuing a Bb. Pilipinas crown, then it’s either now or never. I introduced her to one of the movers behind Aces & Queens during the said dinner with friends.
Now if you see her face (or someone who looks like her) at Gateway in the coming days, then it only means one thing. She has finally decided to give it a go.
And by the way, you should see this part-Pinay, part-Portuguese (yes, she can fluently speak the language of Brazil, Portugal and Angola) in person. She is a knockout.
