Here is the 2nd installment of our “Chatting with the Misters” series where your blogger asks the candidates one (1) question for the week and give their honest answers on an assortment of pageant-related matters.

The question is “How are you preparing for the Press Presentation of Misters 2015 The Pageant?

Here are their answers.

“More than preparing physically and mentally ready to impress the members of the press, I am more than excited to meet them, make friends, create a good impression and express myself for them to know me better.”

– Willan Pagayon, #TheMarketingWizFromIloiloCity

“I’m very excited to meet the press. The only thing I always consider is that I will think of it as a job interview. You need to be emotionally and mentally fit…always prepared with the questions positive or negative. Confidence is a must and most importantly, be yourself.”

– Siegfried S. Bauer, #TheWorldTravelerFromFilCommGermany

“Aside from physical training and dieting… I’m also focused on eliminating the pre-competition anxiety by simply just relaxing while at the same time mentally preparing myself by focusing on my goal which is winning the pageant.”

– J.E. Adajar, #TheMMAFighterFromLaguna

“In order to prepare myself for the Press Presentation, I’m just going to have a positive mentality and take it on as an experience and really just be myself. It’s important that I come in confident and ready.”

– Daniel Anthony Polbrat, #TheArchitectFromFilCommMelbourne

“Nothing special to be honest as I have been working out, not just in preparation for the press presentation but for the whole competition. However, I am excited to meet the members of the press, and to personally thank them for their support. See you po.”

– Reniel Villareal, #TheOFWFromPagbilao

“The press presentation will be the time that we finally unveil ourselves with all the candidates; local & international, and this excites me because the brotherhood will finally be complete. I have been grooming myself and observing how TV personalities showcase themselves and this is important because first impressions last, and good impressions are outstanding. Ultimately, being myself would be the most comfortable way to approach and interact with the media and press; witty, quirky, unique.”

– Rick Kristoffer Palencia, #TheSurvivorFromTacloban

“I am preparing myself by building up the confidence in whatever topics and issues on subject matters that the media will ask me. Moreover, I am socializing with people from different walks of life so I can get more ideas and gather new information that will widen my perspective as a Mister. “

– Earlmond Ross Lee, #TheViolinistFromOlongapoCity

“I’m doing a lot of trainings, including personality development and physical improvements.”

– Red Bayron, #TheRedSurferFromMatiCity

“by practicing how to walk more properly and by knowing some of the bloggers and media personalities who will come to the Press Presentation and by preparing myself to answer their questions in the best way possible.”

– Karan Singhdole, #TheForeignoyFromStaRosa

– Jazzie Magne Vasquez, #TheElectricalAideFromMakatiCity

“Im getting ready for the press conference by preparing myself mentally to show the press who I am, how I am and the values that I support. I am already getting for many questions from media and bloggers which have been helpful in my preparation.”

– Ari Kane, #TheBusinessmanFromVictoria

“The competition hasn’t really formally started but it’s already draining physically, mentally and even emotionally. I’m preparing myself to every endeavor that’s coming my way. From workouts to facing other people. I’m very thankful of the individuals around me who are helping me conquer my weaknesses and turning them into strengths. Honestly, what strengthens me right now is the undying support of the people I represent, Bohol.”

– Paolo Lester Caballero, #TheBestBetFromBulacan

“I see to it that i must be ready with all possible questions that will be asked. Of course, good grooming is also a must. However I want to be as natural as I should be with a little dash of charm.”

– JM dela Cruz, #TheJustifiedMisterFromIlocosNorte

More of the hashtag set cards of the candidates

“In line with my preparation for the upcoming press presentation, I make sure to be spiritually ready. Mentally tough. And physically motivated. I have trust in myself and i have faith in God that all of the things will turn out great not just for me but for all of us candidates and Pepps (organizers). Because we are not just representing ourselves individually but rather the colorful provinces and cities that make up the whole nation. Thank you po. :)”
