Minalungao in General Tinio, Nueva Ecija
Now some of you might be curious what’s the relation of my surname with the chosen province of the pageant. Well, it’s all coincidental, although my paternal roots are really in Nueva Ecija. Being a descendant of the revolutionary side of the Tinios, it pleased me to no end upon learning that Miss Republic of the Philippines President Lynette Padolina signed an agreement with Mayor Virgilio A. Bote of General Tinio (Papaya) for the pageant/tourism deal.
