I am already on my way to SM Mall of Asia Arena to live-blog the Coronation Night of Miss World Philippines 2014. Watch out for continuous updates in this post as the night progresses.
Don’t expect my usual paragraphed write-ups. This will be more of an ‘as-is-where-is‘ type of commentary. Straight to the point and no frills. :-D
Update #1: On the road leading to the venue, dark clouds are everywhere. And to think that it’s supposed to be a dry evening tonight. Strong rains will definitely be pouring in my direction soon.
Update #2: Arena is slowly filling up. No paid tickets. All free.
Update #3: The place is almost filled up, at least the VIP and Lower Box sections. And I am seated right behind Mr. World Philippines 2014 John Spainhour.
Update #4: GMA Artist Julian Trono is doing a dance number first to entertain the crowds.
Update #5: The show will start in 3,2,1….with members of the Armed Forces of the Philippines, Phill. marines, the reigning winners and the candidates.
