Dear readers, consider this post as some sort of a commercial break from Bb. Pilipinas and everything pageant-related.
If you have the time, do watch the latest opus of Lav Diaz, “Norte, Hangganan ng Kasaysayan” (North, Border of History). The movie was part of the Official Selection of Cannes Film Festival’s Un Certain Regard section.
While the movie may not be your usual commercial/mainstream flicks like the monster hit “Starting Over Again”, it should also be supported by local film audiences. Let’s show our pride in the work of our kababayan that has reaped praises internationally and considered by many as “One of the Best Films of 2013″.
