Nichole and Yvethe are the two Maries of Bb, Pilipinas 2014
The name Marie is as common a name as it gets. But if you attach it to Nichole and Yvethe (and the tongue-lifting Hs), the second tag becomes extra special and unquestionably beautiful.
Nichole Marie Manalo of Kagandahang Flores and Yvethe Marie Santiago of Aces & Queens are two of the Bb. Pilipinas 2014 Official Candidates being looked at as potential winners during next month’s coronation night. While the reasons behind their perceived victories are like oil and water, nobody can’t deny that they individually possess the desirable qualities to represent BPCI and the Philippines. The only difference is that Yvethe is a practically unanimous choice in the eyes of many.
I don’t want to further the suspicion that the only reason Nichole will claim a crown is due to her being a Manalo. The girl has unmissable plus factors to shine on her own. But honestly, it can’t be helped if you compare her to the rest of the candidates. This is a very strong field. And she needs to do better than best in order to be called well-deserving.
Yvethe is Yvethe. She knows that she is among the most preferred but doesn’t rub it in the faces of her fellow candidates. But can she sustain the momentum till March 30? I think she will.
