Christi and Pia: Ready to do battle!
Just a couple of hours back, the send-off for the last two of the Bb. Pilipinas 2015 Queens took place at the newly opened poolside area of Novotel Manila Araneta Center where Miss Universe Philippines 2015 Pia Alonzo Wurtzbach and Bb. Pilipinas Intercontinental 2015 Christi Lynn McGarry were honored with a double celebration that served as preludes to their respective departure dates for Miss Universe 2015 in Las Vegas and Miss Intercontinental 2015 in Magdeburg, Germany.
The two ladies were presented in what could be termed as the best versions of themselves, just a small waiting time before they plunge into beauty battle. And all members of the Press were both eager and excited to formally give their well-wishes and also to ask questions about their final preparations for the mission ahead.
“I finally got my own send-off!”, uttered a tearful Pia who cried lightly several times during the event. She is just so happy that all her years of hardwork and dedication are now on the verge of being proven in the global pageant stage. She wants to return to the Philippines by Christmas, hopefully with a message that will go like this: “Mabuhay Philippines! This is my Christmas gift to all of you!“. She is referring to the Miss Universe crown, of course.
Present during the send-off are Bb. Pilipinas International 2015 Janicel Lubina, Miss Globe 2015 Ann Colis, 1st Runner-Up Hannah Ruth Sison and 2nd Runner-Up Kimverlyn Suiza. Adding extra glitter is Pia’s batchmate from the 2014 edition, namely, Bb. Pilipinas International 2014 Bianca Guidotti.
