In a pageant where the final results were still undecided until the show started, top favorite Hillarie Danielle Parungao proved that she is indeed the true winner by being crowned Miss World Philippines 2015. She will now represent the country in Miss World 2015 this coming December 20 in Sanya, China.
Hillarie cornered nine of the special awards and was considered a shoo-in as early as the announcement of the Top 13. But during the Top 5 Q&A, she was given a scare by both Cassandra Naidas and Mia Hernandez Howell who gave solid answers during their turns. However, when deliberations were made afterwards, it was clear that the Nueva Vizcayan lass deserved the #1 spot.
