FB_IMG_1445082215668 I have been involved with beauty pageants for as long as I can remember. I grew up on them. I savored – and continue to savor – every minute that I spend/spent following all of their events. And when I finally started my own blog back in 2009 (after several years of being affiliated with Mabuhay Pageants), my focus has become more hands-on and interpersonal. I have started gaining more contacts and colleagues in the industry. My social network has reached farther than I originally planned. And alongside with that, I have come to realize that this is the world I can definitely see myself growing old into.

Of course, I have no plans of getting stuck just in the fringes or the outer layer. Since I have already dipped both feet in the water, why not wade and start making light splashes in the process? It won’t be easy, but I will try to give it a healthy go. Starting 2016 perhaps? I won’t get into it with my eyes blindfolded, after all.

To my closest friends in the pageant scene, my plans have remained under wraps. I am keeping things close to my chest in the meantime. But soon, it may unfold in trickles till the time is ripe to spread my wings and become more than just a blogger in your eyes. :-)
