Carlos Ching is Cebu's representative in Misters 2015 The Pageant
And so we’re down to this. The 30th and last of the Official Candidates of Misters 2015 The Pageant is in the spotlight. And Carlos Ching is not about to enter the picture without a dose of excitement. He is actually steaming hot. Thanks to his hashtag #TheFiredancerFromCebu. He plays with fire for a living. And does it well.
Carlos, or ‘Ching‘ to close friends, is a 25 year-old Cebuano who has done different jobs in the past. He has been a server at TGIFridays before, after which he tried his hand at real estate sales with Megaworld. But it is in modeling and fire dancing where he is able to get more fulfilling gigs, maybe not on a regular basis but frequent enough to make him look forward to the next project with eagerness.
Q&A time with Cebu’s pride in the male competition.
Carlos is a Firedancer, a basketball player and an all-around nice guy
1) As a Misters 2015 candidate, give me a 30-second intro about yourself which will make followers show more interest in you.
“I’m Carlos Ching, 25 yrs old, and my hobbies include playing basketball, going to the gym and playing online games. I am a jolly person, optimistic and humble.”
2) As one of the candidates, what image do you want to show the others?
“The image that I want to show to others is being a God fearing person because God is always with us at anytime.”
3) In Miss Universe, a popular running line is “yellow is the color of joy”. What color best represents you?
“For me, the color that best represents me is white because it symbolizes purity. I can compare it to myself because I’m a transparent person.What you see is what you can get.”
4) Not everyone can win a special award in the competition, but if you are qualified for the following, which would you prefer to win: Mister Friendship or Mister Talent?
“I will choose Mister Friendship because being friendly is an innate talent.”
5) If you win one of the titles, people will expect you to be a good role model. How will you start building that image if ever?
“In my own opinion, I will stay the same, the way I really am and just improve on my weaknesses.”
6) What expectations do you have in terms of handling the national competition? Being that it will be bigger and more prestigious, will you adopt a unique gameplan if ever?
“I will be positive in any situation because I have my firm faith in God.”
7) How do you expect your life to change after being named an Official Candidate of Misters 2015?
“I’m not expecting any changes in my life. I will stay the same and put my feet always on the ground.”
8) Any message to your future followers, Carlos?
“Thank you to all my followers and please support me in the upcoming Misters 2015 The Pageant.”
