You see the letter above (issued by the organizers of MUCP) is informing the public that one of their winners, Mister Universal Ambassador Philippines 2015 Cris Edwin Navarro has been dethroned due to exhibiting “character unworthy of the title” and for ignoring his commitments to the Organization.
It was only a matter of time before the dethroned winner posted statements (screenshot below) to defend himself regarding the issue. And what a mouthful of alleged revelations he detailed, which even included Kamel Raad, Mister United Continents 2015.
The way I see it, the root of the problem is the non-release of cash prizes (or at least the promised part of it) which inevitably forced Cris to seek other sources of income to earn his keep. If he is not getting any from the people behind MUCP, then you can’t blame him for finding other means to survive the rising cost of daily living.
I posted the two separate statements above and below not to fan the flames of controversy anymore, but to air both their sides and hopefully reach a clearer denouement on the whole dethronement issue.
