According to this article by David Samuels on The Atlantic, she is the beautiful babe whose job is to “stroll around in red bikinis carrying ring-cards before each round of every UFC fight. The Octagon Girls are wildly popular with fight fans, male and female, and they attract as much attention as the fighters.”
And during the recently-wrapped up search for the next UFC Octagon Girl here in Manila (which was also judged by Ines Ligron during her stay at Solaire), the first Asian and Filipina to become one is Red dela Cruz whose previous claim to fame was landing on the cover of FHM.
