Both tall and exotic Binibinis, Janicel and Christi Lynn deserve to get this exciting match
Now this is one Binibini Face-Off that is both exciting and anticipated -the rural lass who got dramatic transformations from the time she set foot in Manila to embark on a pageant career and the former US East Coast resident-turned-Mutya ng Pilipinas who has decided to fully ‘filipinize‘ herself in hopes of bagging a more fulfilling national crown. This could be particularly tricky to those who have not cemented their support for Binibini 11 Janicel Lubina yet. And quite easy for the ones who are already faithful supporters of Binibini 19 Christi Lynn McGarry.
Both ladies actually possess all the inherent qualities that would make them hits in the international pageant stage. They are tall, exotic and very diligent learners. Janicel may not be as articulate in English as Christi who uses it as her first language. But then again, the Palawena can count on her determination and very transparent sincerity in working out her limitations to meet the expectations of everyone in this regard.
Is this a battle of sexiness overload or what?
Sexiness-wise, Janicel has an edge over Christi. But in terms of skin tone, Christi noses out Janicel by a slight margin. Perhaps, it would be a safe draw if pasarela skills are to be scored.
But where will there be a distinct advantage to allow one to leave the other person trailing? Beauty of face, I reckon.
Janicel is clearly more attractive, very Filipina and exuding a sharply more likeable aura. This is not saying that Christi is significantly lagging behind. But let’s admit it. The former has already endeared herself to the public for quite some now, while following the ups and downs in her beauty contest attempts.
If there is a Cinderella waiting to fit her glass shoes, it would have to be Janicel. ;-)
