Mister Philippines Neil Perez in his Edwin Uy 'Dinagyang' - inspired National Costume
Just a few more hours before the start of the 9th Mister International Pageant in Seoul, Korea, I want to make a postscript blog on the National Costume that Mister Philippines Neil Perez will be wearing during the finals ceremony at the WAPOP Hall.
This ‘Dinagyang’-inspired National Costume was conceptualized and executed by popular fashion designer Edwin Uy who has already made traditional attires for Bb. Pilipinas (Parul Shah and the headdresses worn by Bianca Guidotti and Yvethe Santiago in their international competitions).
Early buzz is that this ensemble of Neil is in the strong running for Best National Costume.
