But the discussions still persist about the Philippine representative when a group photo of all the candidates showed her to be midget-looking compared to the rest. Well, that image was photoshopped. Sure, Miss Teen Philippines Shawna Warhurst is not tall, and measures only around 5’2″-5’3″. But that height is definitely not in the 4 feet range.
Shawna, who was sent to Guatemala by the IPEN Group of Edgar Sulit who holds the Philippine franchise for the contest, is actually a 17 year-old student from Maple Ridge, British Columbia. She has a pretty face that could remind you of one-time local TV personality Nancy Castiglione.

And mind you, she may not have won Miss Teen Universe 2015 (nor made the Top 12 cut) but Shawna took home at least three (3) special awards, namely, Miss Congeniality, Miss Photogenic and Best in National Costume. How’s that for a respectable performance? ;-)
