It’s so timely that, just last year, the Official Candidates of Bb. Pilipinas paraded in the National Costume Competition wearing traditional attires that showcased the creative genius of our local designers. And just a week back, the whole country was practically up in arms with the Alfredo Barraza flower-filled Filipiniana getup worn by Miss Philippines MJ Lastimosa during the 63rd Miss Universe Pageant in Doral Miami.
