Now some of you might ask why Valerie decided to cover herself up with the malong instead of exposing the mid-riff top underneath. It’s really the traditional way of presenting the costume. And it would be far from her mind to go against the specific instructions of how to wear the same. The T’boli Hegalong guitar is really a nice touch. I wouldn’t be surprised if the added prop will be the clincher for her to make it to the selected group of performers. :-)
