Tonight in Caracas (Friday morning in Manila), Miss Venezuela 2014/15 will be crowned during the finals to be conducted inside Estudio 1 de Venevisión. Even if the reigning Miss Venezuela Universo Migbelis Castellanos hasn’t been fielded yet (in fact, neither have Michelle Bertolini and Stephanie de Zorzi been sent for competition to date), her successor will be known. And that girl will definitely be sent to Miss Universe 2015 which could happen very late next year.
Topping the list of my hot favorites going into the coronation night are Miss Anzoategui Edymar Martínez Blanco, Miss Distrito Capital Lorena Santos Agli and Miss Guarico Mariana Coromoto Jiménez. They seem to have the momentum in their favor. But more personally, I’m not giving up on Miss Falcon Jennifer Angulo Saá for now. My wish is for another black Venezuelan to represent the country abroad. In addition, my two other picks to hopefully place are Miss Amazonas Maira Alexandra Rodriguez Herrera and Miss Trujillo Débora Paola Medina Pineda.

I won’t be able to follow the finals on real time. But for sure, I will look forward to knowing who will be the new muses of Osmel Sousa. ;-)
