A Weekend in Puerto Rico for Megan

Over the weekend, Miss World 2013 Megan Young was in San Juan, Puerto Rico to help judge the Beach Beauty and Top Model competitions of Miss Mundo de Puerto Rico 2014. She would have stayed on till after 13th to take part in the finals of the same, but schedule conflicts prevented her from helping crown its next Miss World representative. At the very least, she was able to meet up and spend time with Nadya Lee Torres who was her fellow delegate in Bali last year.

By the way, did you know that our Queen had an appendectomy earlier in the month? She had to miss a previous engagement in Alberta because of the minor surgery. But ever the trouper that she is, the succeeding travels were handled as planned and she was up and running in no time at all. The pictures in Puerto Rico are proof positive that she is A-okay now.
