Froilene Villanueva: a Mutya for your serious consideration

Mutya ng Iloilo City Froilene C. Villanueva in the ongoing Mutya ng Pilipinas 2014 is neither a crowd favorite nor an underdog in the competition so far. Middling in the fringes of the upper tier is where I am seeing her status. But that impression should start to significantly improve now that the organizers have started to appreciate this Ilongga better. A graduate of Communication and Media Studies from the University of the Philippines-Visayas, this intelligent 21 year-old is not just endowed with a pretty face. She is also a bright young lady who can give a run for the money any strong competitor who may tend to crumble under pressure.

And Froilene knows when to jump the gun on the more weak-willed and easy-to-intimidate. She will grab the chance the minute she catches the window to shine. ;-)
